Timur Yalcin


Specialised in Education Technologies, Adaptive Learning  and Refugees Related Projects.

He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Musicology Department. In 2000, he went to Japan as a research student to study Traditional Japanese Music (Gagaku) with Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation’s scholarship which was given first time to an art research. Between 2000-2002, he did a comparative research on Traditional Ottoman and Japanese Music forms. After Japan, he went to Oxford, UK to study Interactive Media and completed his MA with merit in 2005.

During and after his education period, he worked in many companies as a consultant and designer in advertisement, PR and internet media projects.

In 2005, he went back to Turkey as an Advisor to State Ministry of Women and Family Affairs. He worked in Foreign Relations, Internet Safety, and Social Awareness projects. In 2009, he was pointed as a Counsellor to Ministry of National Education. He worked on Foreign Relations, Education Technologies (particularly on Fatih Project), Internet Safety and Social Awareness projects. He presented the Ministries he worked, in many international meetings.

He was a Founding Member of Future Education Association and worked on Education Technologies and Refugees related projects in the association.
